Lots of character at Cellar Wines. It’s great to see them stocking local English Wines
– John Mobbs, Great British Wine
The selection of wines available was amazing and the staff were more than happy to help and make sure we made a good choice!
– Jade D
Such a great range of wines here and such a relaxing atmosphere with friends. Would definitely be coming back when I next can!
– Jake Y
Visited here with friends, keen to see if the other reviews lived up to the hype. Must admit I was impressed. Amazing range of wines and you have to check out the deli counter – delicious!
– Jenni P
Their boutique offers fine wines, spirits and a gourmet delicatessen, as well as being a thriving artisan hub with special events, guest wine educators and an expansive selection of fine wines from around the world.
– The Guide 2 Surrey
We were so well looked after. Great for a party or go and sample the wines, cheeses and charcuterie!
– Louise Punter, CEO, Surrey Chambers
We have been to several wine tastings and meals at Cellar Wines and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. They also have a great range of different wines, cheeses and biscuits as well as some very pleasant cold meats to purchase. In our experience a superb venue and great staff – well worth checking out on their web site and a visit to Cellar Wines
– Dudley & Cathie
Great range of wines and truly delicious cheeses make this a night out to remember. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the beautifully old and quirky building gives Cellar wines a unique atmosphere. We will be returning!

Staff have great knowledge, wonderful selection of wines and a great experience. Would recommend to anyone and will visit again!

Cellar Wines is a wine shop & delicatessen offering a boutique of fine wines and foods. Making the experience of buying wine as enjoyable as drinking it!
– Surrey Hills Enterprises
“A truly inspiring wine and cheese shopping experience!” – “Fantastic tailor made and off the shelf events!” It is one of the most creative businesses I have been to recently. Why not take it one step further and attend one of their tasting events because it’s an education not only in wine but food pairing too!
– Shirlee P, Eat Surrey
Such a beautiful display of wines in this shop, coupled with excellent service and a genuine smile.
What a night I had with my friends last night. The cheeseboard and wine was magnificent! I couldn’t speak more highly of the staff! Would recommend highly!
– Steven B
Lovely shop with really attentive staff. We only went in there to buy a waiters friend and ended up with some cheese tasting and buying. We were shown around the facility to discover that we could go in and have a selection of olives, cheeses and cured meats with wine or coffee or both at a choice of tables at the back. We had already eaten, so we will go back there soon
I regularly buy both their updated cheese selection and specialist wines and their always very knowledgeable on pairing cheeses with their wines! At the back they have a lovely little snug, which you could happily sit in all day drinking a bottle of red – and the cellar which I believe is 16th century is a real treat to see 🙂
If you’re buying goats cheese – then make sure you get the rosemary crackers – they make a perfect combo!
– Tori N
I like buying my Mum wine presents from here and taking her for the day here for wine and cheese tasting. My Mum and me love it here as the service is great and the staff are lovely! 🙂

This is a great little find. Plenty of choice and the staff are only too happy to help, and recommend and are very friendly. Great cellar, can’t wait to return.
– Debbie B
I was a guest within a private event and have to say the cheese and wine was particularly fabulous! Will certainly be attending this place with my husband at a later date!
– Jenni F
We went along for a Saturday tasting in their really old building, it was great. The building has a lot of history, and they mentioned a plaque going up. Lovely deli, great wines, really nice staff and definitely going back for their wine tasting events
– Paul J
Me and my friends thought we’d arrange something a little different, and this was definitely up our street! The selection of wines is to die for, and of course the cheese, can’t forget the cheese! Staff are friendly and pleasant too, we will definitely be returning in the near future.
– Derry B
Cellar Wines is like a Tardis as from the outside, it seems small, but you progress through several rooms until you reach a small secluded garden which is a delightful place to have a glass of wine. The wine list is very extensive and it contains some unusual grape varieties. Will certainly visit again.
My husband and I recently paid a visit to Cellar Wines and were amazed at the knowledge and selection of wines they have here. We ordered a beautiful cheeseboard and wine selection and weren’t disappointed. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place, can’t wait to go back. Thanks.

My partner and I attended the champagne tasting and had a great evening. The shop itself is quirky with a great atmosphere. The owner was there himself and took the time out to tell us a little about the interesting history of the building. The staff were very knowledgeable and approachable. I’d recommend popping along to check out their vast selection of wines and delicious produce. Many thanks Cellar Wines!

I do think that this is a small business which deserves to succeed as they are delivering an excellent service, working so hard professionally and also deliver an excellent product.
Beautiful wines and amazing cheeses. A really great way to spend an evening in my opinion. Will be highly recommending this place to friends.
– Nic S
Fantastic night. Beautiful wines, perfectly paired cheeses and expert tuition made for a thoroughly excellent experience for me and my partner. I can’t wait to go to the next night.
– Jon W
I spent an afternoon here with my girlfriends and we had a lovely time! We spent the afternoon surrounded by wine, cheese and good vibes. Highly recommend.
– Tara C
Fantastic choice of wines coupled with knowledgeable and friendly staff meant we had a really enjoyable evening. I was fascinated to learn that the building was once the Ripley Pharmacy within which Kenneth White became the first person in the UK to make and sell penicillin to civilians. Also ask to see the 3-400 year old door that once led to the overnight dungeon that was presumably in use when the building was a coaching Inn many many years ago.
– John J
I visited recently with friends and had a thoroughly good time. A fantastic selection of wines in the cellar and they were very knowledgeable. Recommended!
This is an example menu to enjoy sitting and relaxing inside our 15th century boutique (and not to be confused with our take away one!)
Or select any bottle from the boutique and we’ll just add a small corkage charge to relax and sit down with to open and drink.
We also use the Coravin system, so we can extract by the glass from almost any wine bottle, just ask one the team for more details!
